Happy Sunday guys, I was initially going to blog what I wore to church today, however due to the weather and some other things, that did not work out. I was so disappointed but I'll get around to blogging that some other time. Sadly, my computer is at the repair shop, so I write you this post from my friends borrowed laptop.

Anyways, for today I restyled my thrift-ed high-waist pants which I already styled HERE. This time however,I went for a more casual and laid back look. Stayed tuned for more ways on how I style these amazing pants which I got for about $7. I  do plan on blogging more outfits with flats rather than heels, since my days to day outfits usually consist of more flats. On a side note, I had to edit these photos with my phone due to the fact that I don't have Photoshop, so guys please bear with me.
I stayed up all night doing my hair, what do you think ?

One thing I adore about this trend is the fact that the pieces are so versatile. The top and buttom can be styled seperately to create different looks. This is one trend I am looking forward to trying and I found an amazing selection of co-ords on Missguided (HERE), be sure the check them out for more options.

Today’s weather was so dull; it just made me feel lazy. On such days I like to opt for bright colours. I have to say, wearing bright colours on cloudy days definitely helps in improving your mood and making you day more productive.

I paired orange and pink for a bold colour block look. I wore this top backward as I usually do. Then I added a gold metal belt to cinch in my waist and  went with my colour block sandals which are perfect for this look. For those wondering, my hair is semi-natural, I keep perming it but the perm doesn’t seem to help in keeping my stubborn hair straight.

While reading the bible I came across a verse that spoke to me and I want to share it with you guys.
“Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.
If they watch every cloud they never harvest.”
(Ecclesiastes 11:4)

Sometimes we think everything has to be perfect before we begin something. Sometimes I think it would have been better if I had waited for a great camera or layout before I started blogging but because I started blogging I feel more motivated to buy a new camera and improve my blog. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you start something, just do what you can while you can with what you have and everything will fall into place.

There is something so subtle yet sexy about off-the-shoulder tops. I had initially styled this top HERE but this time I wore it backwards. I paired the top with a midi pleated skirt which is one of the oldest items in my closet. I have had this skirt for about 10 years now; my mom bought it for me while we were living in Israel. I also have a similar pair which I styled HERE. I paired this look with my almost nude court shoes and went with a red lip.
Make sure to check out my style feature at Theellaemma

So what exactly was I doing in this picture?

This picture was on the official facebook page of the mall, Central World

I was going through some old pictures and when I saw these I laughed. So for today's Randome Friday, I thought I'd tell you guys about one of the craziest things I have ever done.
Last year, a friend of mine told me about the grand opening of H&M in one of the biggest malls over here in Thailand. Apparently the first 5 people in line would get a huge shopping spree, I thought to myself, I have never done something like this before so why not try? I packed a little snack, took a book and my makeup and went to camp outside the mall at 10 pm while the grand opening was at 8am( yes, I waited for about 10 hours).

As you can see from the above picture I was the first one in line, unfortunately for my friend she decided not come. Now we were told that we could go to the bathroom but if we didn’t come back after 20 minutes we would lose our spot. Not willing to take the risk of losing my spot in line I drank as little water as possible and rushed to the toilet after I had received my prize. It’s funny, I slept on the floor and the mosquitoes were insane but it was so worth it. There was so much media and press, I remember one lady asking me how I found out about this, they thought I was a tourist lol.

So how much did I get? I got a 5000 baht (about $162) coupon which I had to spend that day, it was so easy. This was one of my best shopping experiences ever.

At the time, I did not take pictures of the items I had gotten, but do you recognize any of these items? This happened in August 2013, since they had just opened they had no heels so I got flats. I have worn my black/white jeans and black bag the most out of all the items I got.

What was the craziest thing you've ever done?
