AGATHA

Hey Beautiful People, how are we all doing?

I was just thinking the other day, how much I miss being a child. I remember when I was younger, I just wanted to grow up and experience life but seriously though, adulthood is stressful. Now I have to get a job or more like a career, make money and very soon get married. Because in this part of the world once you're done with school, it's time to get married. Oh well, God is in control, so everything will work out.

Anyways, I was given this skirt by my colleague Agatha, hence the title of this post. As you all know, I love my midi-skirts and normally, I wouldn't  purchase a flamboyant piece like this, but I love the skirt. I decided to pair the skirt with my burgundy stop (styled here and here) to give the look a bit of color blocking.

What do you miss about Childhood?

Skirt: Gift || Top: Stradivarius || Shoes: Zara

  1. I understand what you mean, I couldnt wait to be an adult and be my own person.
But the reality hit me after graduation, having to look for a job, being independent and all.
i am still trying to get the hang of the whole thing.

  2. I think one thing I miss as a child was the stress free life. Things were provided and you never worried about a thing. Now that I am all grown, I am struggling between building a good career and a financially stable future. But I can't really complain about that because there are certain joys that comse with being an adult. e.g the joy of accomplising your goals.

You look lovely. Love the skirt.

  4. You look stunning! Everything about this look is perfection, and I really love your smile! Also, I miss being a child sometimes too but I'm content being grown now too! :) In fact, I'm a mother myself now.

    Happy Monday, love!

  6. Oh you have no idea how many times those thoughts have gone through my head, way too often. When I was a child I was mostly excited to grow up and do my own shiiixx, today I dread the thought of becoming older, more responsibilities and not to mention the bills, I just don't think that I'm ready just yet lol.

Love the shirt and the way you styled it, so feminine.

  11. I miss the carefree life and Zero responsibilities . But honestly adulthood has its perks too besides the stress that comes with growing older. I love the A-line look of this midi skirt adding a bold colour top was definitely a good choice. Stay blessed and have a great day.x
